i am entitled to live my life / i tell my husband how to live his life
A Privilege Denying Feminist post.
Your flatmate drew up the cleaning rota: everything split exactly equally, colour-coded, laminated. The bins, it turns out, are "more of a you job". Your friend always insists the bill is split evenly. Tonight she had a salad and a tap water. Tonight it's "let's just pay for what we had". "Debate me like an adult," says the man online. You reply with a source. He replies with one word, "cope", and blocks you. Your manager wants everyone treated the same. Everyone gets Friday afternoons off. Except you, because you "seem to enjoy it here". **Why it caught on:** it appeared as a counterpart to Privilege Denying Dude around 2010, a strawman built for one side of a heated online argument. The woman in the photo isn't known to have anything to do with it and deserves none of it; the pattern lasted because everyone knows someone whose principles hold right up until they cost something.
