He spends a week wondering why nobody will meet him for a drink. On the long drive to the coast your dad says "nearly there" an hour out. He says it again ten minutes later. He has been doing this since 1997 and you have never once been nearly there. **Why it caught on:** Carlos Ramirez drew the grin in MS Paint in 2008 for a DeviantArt comic about trolls, and it spread through rage comics as the face of winding people up. He later registered the copyright and earned from it, which makes him one of the few people ever paid for trolling.
