By Friday the whole house will have it, including, somehow, the dog. Brace yourselves. **Why it caught on:** "Winter is coming" are the words of House Stark, delivered grimly by Sean Bean's Ned Stark in HBO's Game of Thrones, which began in 2011. There's always a wave of something predictable on its way, and that face is how you watch it arrive.
