You call at once, heart racing. She wanted to know how to send a text. A colleague prints every email to read it, writes his reply on the printout in pen, then scans it back in and attaches it. He has twelve years to retirement and no intention of changing. At the phone shop a man asks whether his new phone will hold all his photos, or whether he should get a bigger one "with more room in it". The assistant starts to explain the cloud. The man looks up at the ceiling. **Why it caught on:** a white duck from the free stock photo site FreeFoto spread through 4chan, Tumblr and Reddit as everyone's trusting relative online, and everyone does tech support for somebody.
